Arena

Play for a rating, not for chips.

Free to enter, ranked, and permanent. Four ranks, a global ladder, and a number beside your name that nothing in the store can move.

Arena

New

A second ladder. Nothing to pay to climb it.

The rooms are where you play for Gold. Arena is where you play for standing. Reach Level 2 and it opens from its own tab: free three-player matches with nothing on the line but your rating. Win and it climbs, lose and it falls, and it never resets — so the number beside your name is the honest sum of every Arena hand you've played.

Matchmaking seats you with players near your own rating. Sample ladder shown.

Four ranks to climb

Cross a threshold and the rank is yours. Slip back below it and it isn't — the ladder moves both ways.

  1. Pro

    2,500+

    The best of the best.

  2. Shark

    2,000+

    Feared. Consistently dominant.

  3. Grinder

    1,500+

    Skilled, patient, relentless.

  4. Regular

    1,000+

    A competent Arena player.

Below 1,000 you're Unranked. Your first 25 matches are provisional while the rating finds your level.

How it works

Reach Level 2, and it opens from its own tab.

Arena unlocks when you reach Skyline Lounge, and after that it stays open. There is no buy-in to find and no balance to protect — matchmaking seats you with players near your own rating, and the only thing that changes at the end is the number beside your name.

The rating

It never resets, which is the whole point.

A season that wipes turns a rating into a scoreboard for the last few weeks. Yours is the honest sum of every Arena hand you have played — your first twenty-five matches are provisional while it finds your level, and after that it only moves because of how you played.

What it is not

Nothing you can buy moves your rating.

There is no entry fee, no Gold payout, and no purchase anywhere in the app that touches your Elo or your rank. Pro opens lessons faster; it does not open a rank. The ladder is the one place in Vibe Poker where the only input is how you played.

  • Your Arena standing: current rating, the rank above, and where you sit on the global ladder.

  • The end of an Arena match — the rating moves, and sometimes the rank moves with it.
